feel good hit of the summer..

so although i can't shop until april it's certainly not stopping me making a wishlist of huge proportions unfortunately! and one of my favourite window-shopping haunts lately has been the ragged priest.

i love the way that their campaign is heavy on the pastel colours - i really prefer them to the real brights going around this summer. although i don't mind bright coloured accents, i feel way too pale at the moment to pull off any seriously bright clothes - let alone the neon that's flooding the high street! unfortunately my black-heavy wardrobe is seriously lacking in both of these trends anyway, but perhaps closer to holiday-time i can rectify this! i'm hoping to book a sunny holiday soon as i actually received my first ever illustrated commission last week! this is a sure reason to celebrate, it's top secret though unfortunately so i can't share it here!

anyway, on my ragged priest wishlist there are loads of lust-haves but these are my personal favourites:

this is called the cobra camelot studded aran: i'm a freak for knitwear at the best of times but this makes my heart skip a beat just a little bit. i adore the studs on the cobra patches on the shoulder, and the colour is amazing. i love wearing big, shapeless jumpers with just a bodycon tunic and black tights and docs, that's actually my staple wardrobe more than anything.

this is called the creeper gilet: i've never actually bought a gilet but i think i would wear this particular one to death. i kind of fantasise about wearing this with my black ensembles day in day out at uni until i get known as 'that weird girl with the denim spiky jacket thing.'

a colour that i always look at but never seem to buy much of is that amazing khaki green that you associate with 'army'. this is another one that i think i'd wear until it fell right off me. this is called the 'sniper' jumper.

finally, these are the ultimate 1 levi's in black. when i was doing my art foundation i think i might well have worn a pair of ripped denim hotpants every single day for the entire year (even in the bitter cold i'd just wear them with leggings and over knee socks.) i have about five pairs of black or dark grey shorts in various styles - some highwaisted, some ripped - but unfortunately none of them are close to being as beautiful as these. can you imagine these with the sniper jumper? absolute perfection.

however i'm not buying clothes this lent, so this is all a fantasy unfortunately! prices are between £48 and £70 for these clothes so perhaps with the money i hope to save (!) i can buy at least a pair of the denim shorts to wear on holiday. also, if you like what you saw here, please go and check out their leather jackets, they're to die for.
