strangeness and charm..

i just wanted to post lately and say thank you for all the support i've had so far on my blog. it's really lovely to have people commenting on posts and following me. i've only had the blog since february so it's really nice to be getting comments and follows - please continue to do so! (:

today i have to go into uni to get my new illustration project kick started. we have a project where we're going to be using non-linear perspective inspired by the art of a different culture, for example ancient egyptian or aboriginal, to inform either a dream diary or a 'day in the life of.' i'm excited to get started on this, and will post some work when i get started! until then, here are a couple more pieces that are scanned in from my foundation course until i have a chance to post more.

this was one my best friend modelled for me as she's an absolute star. it was one of my first 'successful' experiments on my foundation course using my graphics tablet!

this was more mixed media. we had an architecture project and i wanted to relate it to the structure of the human body, so i studied all sorts of different types of physique and this was one of them.
